I brought Lotus Notes, now Lotus Domino, into the IRM College in 1992 as a demonstration project, and acted as the Notes administrator for several years. As one of our first pilot projects we began Notesbases for the student evaluation of faculty. This was so successful that we implemented a policy of placing different segments of the college curriculum into various Notebases. Now all the curriculum is placed, organized and available through Notes/Domino. The introduction of Lotus Domino in 1995 eliminated the need for a Notes Client. Now students may access all the data through their internet browser e.g. Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. Our use of Notes was so successful that the other colleges at the University also adopted Notes. It is now used for evaluation by all University students and faculty.
